We had 3 winners at the 3rd Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) 2011 awards. Singer Myco Chris won Best Male UK-Based Afro/Caribbean although he lost the Best Gospel Act award. East African Voice radio took the Station of the Year award well as Miss Uganda UK organiser Jacqueline Matovu won Best Pageant Director award. Other nominees were Miss Uganda UK 2011 for Best Beauty Pageant, former Miss Uganda UK, Maria Namiiro (Best Former Beauty Queen), Hyper Hype (Best Male UK-Based Afro/ Caribbean Act), model Sophie Latoya (Best Female Model), Kamondi Couture and Jose Hendo (Best Female Fashion Designer) and Tukdel( Best Events Promoter).
