Monitor Publications, part of Nation Media Group, is said to have agreed to support Ug@50, UK; an event being specially organised to celebrate Uganda's 50th Independence anniversary in London. The Ugandan media house becomes a media partner to the event with a package worth over $4,000. Ug@50,UK is a one-day family event to be held on October 13th, 2012 at The Hippodrome. |
| Let Live Gives Artists Platform |
Last year was a great boost for UK-based artists. Their biggest lift yet this year seems to have come from Live & Let Live. Starting 30th March, the Forest Gate pub will be incorporating live performances by UK-based Ugandan artists in its Friday night karaoke. |
